Training Plans

If you need some structure for getting ready for race day, here are some plans we've put together for you. Whether you're just getting started or you've been running for years, there's a plan for you.

Training Groups

Training groups will be hosted throughout the Athens, GA area. These groups are open to all running experience levels and will be a great opportunity to train, earn prizes and run with your friends. Training groups will include:

  • Official training plans geared specifically for our race
  • Discounts, exclusive shirts and other giveaway incentives for attending training sessions
  • Access to a registered dietitian
  • Access to running coaches

Group Runs

The Chick-fil-A® Connect Half Marathon will be hosting three free group runs leading up to the race. These group runs are open to everyone and we would love for you to be apart. These training runs will feature:

  • Half Marathon discounts and registration giveaways
  • Official timing
  • Finish line refreshments
  • Marked course with various race distances
  • Pace Groups
  • Bag/key check
